About Me

My name is Josie. I'm an EFL teacher, teacher trainer and SEN coach. I joined the ETI team of trainers in 2011 after a number of years teaching at our sister school ESE. I deliver a number of Teacher Training courses related to methodology in particular those courses aimed at primary and secondary school teachers. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with young learners and adults alike and have gained vast experience in teaching General English, Academic and Exam classes. I have a particular interest in the use of technology in the classroom and am a qualified Cambridge-Hitachi Interactive Whiteboard Trainer.

Teaching is a learning path that takes us through different journeys and my latest journey took me to the world of SEN, an area of education very close to my heart. In 2020 I joined the PAGS team of professionals, offering SEN related services.

On a personal level, my interests vary from travelling to reading to cooking. Having said that, I have to admit that I have a passion for writing, hence this blog. I hope that together we will embark on a journey that will enable us to explore and exploit classroom practices with the aim of developing our professional career further, enhancing our teaching along the way.
